Live near a Wal-Mart? They have Universal DC adapters with over 800mA with interchangeable tips and selectable voltages and polarity. If at least one of the tips/plugs doesn't fit the jack on the Floor, you can just return it to Wal-Mart. If one does fit, you have your spare and a source.

Has anybody been able to find an "after market" power supply? Walmart, etc?

The cable off my MF's little square power box just tore out after 8 month's use.

Thanks for your help.

Just ordered the Fender adapter through GC for under $20 (includes shipping). It was cheaper than the Radio Shack adapter at $31.

Took GC awhile (got no where by phone-they said they would call me back-3hrs passed). I actually had to go to the store & "lean on" a sales person to figure how to place the "special" order. Store called Fender GC Support in AZ, got info, then created the "special" order.

Told them I might be the 1st customer ordering this replacement adapter, but I certainly wont be the last.

Hope it arrives soon.

FYI: I ordered the Cable instead of the Adapter. I needed the Adapter.

Fender Mustang Mini and Mustang Floor:
0094419000 US/EU power adapter Cost: Under $30

Fender Mustang Mini and Mustang Floor:
0094421000 Cable/North America Cost: Under $10

IMPORTANT: Barrel connector is 5.5mm outside & 2.5mm inside.

Canceled order from GC.

Bought a used Ktec Adapter from a garage sale $1. Works great.

We hope they have heard our requests and are working on this. Let's put it this way - the day the new adapter becomes available will be the day I switch over from a Zoom G5 to the Fender Mustang Floor. Seriously. Just let us know when it's available!

I just bought a unit that works at Best Buy. It is 600mA instead of the 800mA supplied with the FMF, but that is all required. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage. ... &keys=keys

Yeah but that thing is no better than the original. We needed heavier duty, not just a replacement.

I agree. I too would like a more durable unit. But until someone decides to design, build, and market one, this will allow me to use the floor amp!
