Personally, I don't care much for the posted upgrades. I just need ONE and that is the possibility to combine effects like overdrive and wah or modulations like a chorus and phaser, which is what you can do in the real world... Please Fender :x

You can already use overdrive and chorus, reverb and delay at the same time

I know that my friend, but not overdrive with a wah, or overdrive with a comp (if you've ever wanted that). The point being, you can just have one of each type effect.

Another very annoying thing is that if you set a sound, copy that to another location and change the amp settings, if you then go between the two, the amp settings will show the same, even if they're not. The only way around this, I found, is to go via another type amp.

I have noticed that last you mention, of the fuse knobs not moving when going from one preset to another is using the same amp emulation. It does change in the amp itself but fuse is 50-50 of the time... just another fuse bug

Hmm, maybe if they copy the Wah's to the mod-section, should be a really easy fix. Maybe duplicate a lot of stomps to the stomp and mod-sections.

well, they did exactly that with the Fender floor, the wah effect can be added as a mod effect, no idea why it s not the same for the M1-2-3-4-5

V.2 has an entirely new chip, no upgrade path for us legacy folks.

Not necessarily. My source made clear there wasn't any change to the modeling engine or upgrade paths with the new chip. Usually it's like the incremental hardware changes to game consoles: cheaper-to-produce chips with zero performance enhancements. Don't expect any awesome new D/Ls for V.2-only. My source says that's not gonna happen.

Correct me If I am wrong, but the amp and effects models are merely data files which can be saved into the amp memory. There is no hard determination about which preset an amp model and associated effects can be saved to, and limited restriction on altering the MOD/DLY presets ( on the MI/II anyway).

Given the fact that all amps/effects are modified in FUSE prior to saving to a preset slot on the amp, I don't see how the new V.2 amp models and effects will not be accessible for use on a V.1 amp, unless FUSE has been completely re-engineered. This will mean Fender having to offer two versions of FUSE if they are intent on the V1 not running the new amps and effects.

I await Fuse 3.0 to see what the story is.

Where did you see an official statement from Fender about this? It sounds like you have inside information too! :D
