This review ain't worth reading. It's just a little bit about the Quality - not more than about the v.1.

Yeah, you would think they would really delve into the fizz issue, Well I had mine preordered for over a month now, and still have another month to go! I will be doing a You Tube demo for specifics. I had issues with the Princeton, Deluxe reverb on cleans with fizz. That is where i will start. So If anyone else needs more addressed in the demo, please let me know, so I can cover that.I am hoping to answer all the issues that are on the table from the V1 models. I may miss a few, like the XLR out to a pa and such, But I will focus on Fizz on the clean models so far. I am sure we can redeem Fenders good name here. I have much faith in the company and know they have addressed and fixed the issue, Now,, Waiting sucks!

Excellent Mak,

let us know when you have your new toy :) I have a couple simple test tones I would like you to try. If it does not fizz with that I do not think it will fizz with anything else.

I'm not planning to get rid of my beloved M3 v1 but if the fizz is gone I would try to fish out a power amp PCB somewhere to do an upgrade at home.

This is the fizziest setup I was ever able to come up with (not usable in real life, but exacerbates the conditions under which the fizz appears):

On your guitar
-select your bridge pickup, preferably a humbucker in this case
-put guitar volume at 10 or max
-lower tone of the bridge pickup to 1 or min

On your M3-4-5
-Select preset 92 (basic deluxe 65)
-lower treble to minimum
-lower mid to minimum
-increase bass to maximum
-put master volume to around 2.5

Now, on your guitar, fret the 12th fret 6th string and gently pluck the the 6th string with the tip of two fingers, if you do it very hard it could mask the fizz, as the fizz is usually 3dB lower than the actual guitar sound

 ... and let me guess, this procedure has to be done exactly at 7 a.m. on Mother's Day ...

 ... no, please excuse me - I will try it exactly this way, when I'm in the store to get mine next week

I hear you mac-knife. The thing is, I can hear the fizz even on the Metal2000 setting but I recognize I'm a VERY picky guy when it comes to sound. The setup I proposse will make the fizz evident to anyone no matter how deaf the person is after 30 years of playing next to a 100 watts tube amp, cranked up to have "the tone".

Yeah, I was gonna start record my album, but when I heard about a V.2 which was fizzfree I decided to wait, the v2 will replace my v1 in my studio and the v1 will be moved to the bands rehersal room :)

In the new Fender Fuze, the Mustang compressor is no longer in the stomp location. It's part of the advanced amp controls. Anyone else notice this? So now we can't turn the compressor on and off with our feet? I used it as a clean boost. Help! (I will be using a M3 version2)

When you say the "new FUSE" do you mean only FUSE for V.2, or for V.1 as well?

I'm running version 2.7.0.23 and there is no compressor under stomp. It's now in advanced amp settings. Not good, since now it can't be used as a clean boost.

Ah, so this is universally true for the current FUSE rev, not just for V.2!

I wouldn't say that yet. Look at my version number. Plus my amps match up with the new v2 amps. It may depend on what device is connected.

Where did you get 2.7.0.23? the version that is available for download on the fuse site is 2.7.0 and does not include the change you mention

I have access to a Mac too and the version I can download is 2.7.0, which does not include what you mention.

The version I'm talking about is available here:
https://fuse.fender.com/
on the link on the left.

Can you share the actual link you use to download that version? I'm curious to test what it does.
