Wish I knew more. They apparently posted it without permission on MF yesterday, then yanked it at once. Nobody I know copped the pic. All I know came from a reliable source (non-troll) over at TGP. Corroborated by a second guy who DID cop the pic of the new Peavey Vypyr posted and yanked by MF at the same time...

I believe it to be a legit sighting of the new MIII. But right now, just as with UFOs, there's nothing to see. Just a few more days...

I am so in love with the 3, Just had it about 2 weeks from Sam Ash. I am calling them on this,, when fender announces the V2 MIII, I will return my fizz boz for the V2! I talked to Sam Ash about this issue and they said don't worry, try and use the amp, and we will make you happy! Well, Fender will anounce the V2's just before my return period ends, so I am gonna try and gamble on letting them order me one, and return this New 3 for the New V2 3.. AHHHH THE FIZZIES!

If it is true about the fizz and it is gone I will probably get a IV for a grab and go and stereo effects loop. I had a V, but did not like the fizz. I have a Mustang Floor now that I play through a rack rig with a 750 watt power amp and Rane Dual 15 band EQ into a 2 x 12 with Texas Heats and it truly rocks. I wonder if they have changed the way the effects are setup in the chain and possible give more stomps as well?

You know, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings in here, but it doesn't say anything about no fizz. Nothing about real metal jacks either.

Actually, I don't see anything here other than a firmware upgrade.

It might be worth it. I can upgrade totally by getting a new Mustang V head. For only $300, that'd totally be worth it. And my V412 cabinet's already broken in.

So will there be an update so Version 1 users can use the new sounds in FUSE?
:?
If not I might have to find another amp.

Great points, guys! It is likely we all get the amps, EFX and pitch shifter in new Firmware!

V.2 involves some amount of hardware upgrade (it's got XLR out) so I'd be stunned if they didn't fix the fizz at the same time on the new units. They are totally aware of the issue and it's been a great source of embarrassment for them.

57 Twin new? Nope, it's in the original amp set.

With all the complaints? I am sure the fizz is fixed, BUT will Fender make good on existing owners to return the fizz boxes for a swap or discount on the V2's? That would be the best thing Fender can do. I mean if they gave some kind of incentive towards a V2, the public would be happy and Fender Mustang would have a much bigger following and Fender would sell these things on a much larger scale. If they did Something to rectify the fizz issue with the swap or something to that effect. The fender name would be as glorious as it should be. ! Hoping for a good outcome. :)
