I just tried some crazy stuff that sounds so good I wanted to share the idea.

For those like me that have both a Mustang 3-4-5 AND a Mustang Floor, try this

-connect your guitar to the floor input as usual
-connect the stereo output from the floor to the aux in on the M3-4-5 (dual lead to stereo mini jack cable required)
-connect the Floor fx-send to the guitar input on the M3-4-5
-adjust the floor volume knob to half

now dial two different and complementary presets on the floor and the M3-4-5... sounds incredible. Some ideas

-Dial a bassman on one amp and a full overdriven British 60'S on the other = instant band!

-dial any two presets on both amps, and on the floor add a pitch shifter one octave down = crazy multivoice harmonizer

-select an overdriven preset on the M3-4-5 and a clean preset with a multitap delay on the floor, adjust settings on the multitap for it to be of type '- 2 3'= driven sound plus two clean echoes!

sky is the limit! :)

Hey jedi2b,

Thanks for sharing here. It sounds like you have a cool tone dialed in.

I'm imagining you standing with a guitar, Mustang floor in front of you, and completely surrounded by Mustang amps. Please tell me you can upload a good quality youtube of this set up. Or at least give us some sound samples. I'd love to see/hear this in action.

Oh, and thank you for making me gas for more mustangs just so I can try this.
