Played a BDRI for several years but the volume was just too much and was using volume boxes to keep it down. Went to a DRRI and lots more manageable. Pedalboard for various overdrives and boost. On a whim and reading about it got a Mustang 2 and almost immediately the Mustang 3 came out and upgraded. It's my rehearsal amp and at home mostly. Easy to tote around and I have dialed in some really great and convincing tube tones. Use the 4 button switch and EXP pedal actually have more control over my tone than with the DRRI setup. I gig with it occasionally if volume even with the DRRI is an issue. I have no problem taking the M3 and using it live.
