Hey guys,

Trying to understand the Sag & Bias functions.

Am using the following amp models:

Clean amps: Bassman, Deluxe, Twin amps
Dirty amps: Supersonic, British 60s, 70s, 80s

What are the Sag/Bias settings you are using for these amps?

I was wondering the same, this post helped me understand a little:

Here are a couple of other thoughts on the subject:

This comment pretty much sums up what I needed to know, let your ears tell you the rest....

I set most of mine (BIAS) about 1 oclock, just a little high to get a nice blusey full tone. I also bias my tube amps the same. I also like the sag turned down.

You may also want to search the 'net for info on how bias and sag affect real valve/tube amps. Bias and sag are inherent characteristics of such amps.

The Mustang / FUSE controls are just trying to emulate that, so understanding what bias and sag really are, may help with understanding how you might want to adjust their DSP counterparts in the Mustangs.

I can't really suggest any specific pages to read, there's so much stuff at different levels of technical detail and style of writing, just hunt around until you find an article that works for you.
