I scored a beater Peavey cab at a pawn shop for $50. I bought it after seeing that it was loaded with these: Image
Fender D120F JBL's. I have a Mustang I and have had an MII. I love the Mustangs and seeing the Mustang V heads going for under $200, I'm thinking it would be awesome with these JBLs. Thoughts?

Looks a good proposition. Don't forget that the Mustang V head has two completely separate outputs for left and right channels. Each of those needs its own speaker(s).

That might work out well. The cab has 2 inputs.

They also need to be 8Ω each.

Are the inputs for individual speakers or for a daisy chain? If the inputs are not for the individual speakers, you are going to be in for a big surprise with two channels going into one speaker connection.

Yeah, but in that case, he can re-wire the two input jacks so that each jack only goes to one speaker. Then he'd be fine...as long as the speakers are 8Ω each.

They are individual to each JBL. Just waiting to find a good price on a Mustang V head. The cab is homely. Missing the inset grab handles. Corner hardware is rusty...
