On my Boss GS-10 I turn on the tuner which disables all heads, cabs, effects, etc, It gives my a pure clean sound so that my Sims (amplitube 3, Guitar Rig, Revalver, etc., can handle all the details without coloring the sound... How do I achieve this with Mustang? I want just a pure unadulterated sound so the sims sound right (letting them do all the work. Make sense????

The Mustang Floor is best suited for this, and makes it easiest to use the unit as a DI. If you have to do it with the other Mustangs, you could try using either a very clean amp model with minimal gain and no other effects, EQ as neutral as you can get it (I think usually the Twin is one of the recommended starting points), or you could try download the "Empty" preset which has everything turned off (beware, volume is quite low as a result).

Hi Strangedogs,

We will be happy to assist. It seems like you have gotten some great advice by PITA. We do recommend the "'65 Fender Twin" as the most "neutral" amp model on all Fender Mustang devices, with the exception of the Fender Mustang Floor, which has the "Studio Preamp" model. Please let us know if we can assist further.
