I have had the Mustang I for about 3 months now and am just getting around to connecting it to my computer as my friends at Guitar Center have long-since suggested. I'm unhappy to report that I cannot get the device recognized by my MacBook Pro. Any suggestions?

Here is what I've done thus far:

Installed Fuse 2.6.0.25

Turned off the amp and attempted to "reset" the amp back to the factory settings by holding down the "EXIT" button until the light went off. Unfortunately, the light never came on in the first place, so that didn't work.

Turned off the amp and attempted an upload by holding down the "SAVE" button, but again, the light system didn't work as the manual had indicated.

Connected the USB cable into each USB port available on the laptop (no connection detected in any of the ports)

Oh, one more thing that I've done:

Tried 3 different USB cables

If I remember correctly, the fuse installer is a bit weird in that it kind of "stalls" for a bit before the installation of the USB drivers for the Mustang. It's kind of stupid. I got a prompt a couple of minutes after the Fuse install was finished asking if I wanted to install the drivers. I think it's a flaw in the way the installer is configured for the Mac. It should really just prompt you for the secondary installation immediately after the first installer is finished, make the drivers another separate installer or install everything using one installer with no other prompts. This is the only installer I've seen do this type of thing.

Anyway, try reinstalling and wait for the prompts I mentioned.

O.
