I'm not familiar with Sony Acid 8 (SA8), but there are one of two obvious things to check:

- If SA8 is expecting an ASIO driver, have you installed this? Note you have to download and install it separately from the FUSE software. Search this forum and the Fender support site for ASIO and you'll find everything you need.

- If SA8 is expecting a Windows audio driver, you need to go to Control Panel, Sounds, Recording, then right-click and check "Show Disabled Devices." Then set the Mustang device that appears as the default recording device.

Hi a-line,

Thanks to scott-uk here. He provided some good information. Here is a link for our Fender Universal ASIO Driver. Please let us know if we can assist with this process as well.

Hi a-line,

It is likely that you will need to go into the ASIO Settings window in Acid and take a look at the actual state of the devices and their status, etc. If you like, please feel free to contact us directly for some additional set up support. Also, as we don't offer any specific support for Sony products but rather set up for our products and ASIO, you may find that Sony's support site for Acid may have some helpful information as well. Thanks.
