Just bought a mustang floor and can't get it to work through my blackstar ht40 effects loop. I plugged my guitar into the I put and then went from the unbalanced L to the return of my effects loop. Went through utility and have both outputs set for a combo amp. I suspect I have to activate something in untilitt but can't find it

On a side note in utility it has bass 100%, treble 100%!, should these all be at 100% or do I adjust it to taste and amp?

Have you checked the Master Volume setting on the Blackstar?

So you're going Guitar > Mustang Floor > Effects Return on the amp?

Not sure if this applies to the Blackstar, but some amps (two of mine are like this) require something to be plugged into the effects loop send as well, otherwise the loop is disabled - try just plugging a random 1/4" jack in there (doesn't even have to be connected to a cable!) and see if it springs to life.

I hook mine up like this..
Guitar into amp input. Effects send into the Fender Floor main input. Left output of the Fender Floor into the effects return.

For my stereo amp setup I hook mine up like this.
Guitar into amp input. Effects send into the Fender Floor main input. Left output of the Fender Floor into the effects return. Right output with a Y connector into my stereo rack rig.

I turn off the amp sim when I use my tube amps. When I just use my rack rig I hook straight into the Floor main in with the guitar and run the Left and Right out into the rack rig and use the amp sim.

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but as you don't explicitly mention it...

Have you turned up the 'Level' (ie output volume) dial on the back of your Mustang Floor?

Rather than using the fx loop of your amp, try plugging the output of the M-Floor into the normal input to your amp (with guitar plugged into input of M-Floor, etc) - that will at least tell you if everything is working, even if it isn't the final sound you want.
