I can't open the dvd on my computer. What should I do? I don't know if the fuse, ableton and amplitude programs can be downloaded from that dvd.

just to cover the basics, look at the CD drive on your computer. Does is say "DVD" on the bezel (faceplate)?

Can you be more explicit? What exactly do you do, what exactly happens, what exactly does Windows Explorer (or anything else) report for the drive? eg can you browse the folders/files on the drive in Explorer?

Is it that the disc can't be read, or is it simply not auto-playing and you're not sure how to access the files on it?

Do other discs work properly in your computer / drive?

If we assume, above diagnosis notwithstanding, that you simply have a damaged / unplayable disc, then you could take/send it back to the place you bought the amp from and ask them to exchange it for a new one. Or get in touch with Fender TSL, they may be able to help. Their contact details are in any of their posts in this forum. Plus they'll probably reply to this topic when they see it!

If it's just that there's an obvious scratch etc on the disc, I've successfully polished these out before using a very mild car wax/polish (or even toothpaste!) and restored discs to full working order. Obviously be careful, entirely at your own risk, etc - but if the disc is unplayable now, you can hardly make it worse by trying.

You have to install Ableton and Amplitube from the disc supplied with the amp (or working replacement disc!). You can't get versions of these elsewhere.

For FUSE, you can freely download this from the Fender website:
http://wpc.077d.edgecastcdn.net/00077D/ ... 6.0.25.exe

Indeed, downloading the latest version as above is probably better than installing the version on the supplied disc, which is most likely an older version.

You don't have to use Ableton and Amplitube
(Ableton has a rep of being not so easy to learn)
I use Reaper and can do all I need there
You could also use the free Audacity for recording
