I have a pretty good ear for these things, and I don't hear what those sound cloud clips sound like in my M3, apparently not all of them do this, so it's really seeming to be a tossup.

Fender has not really had much to say on this one, so the best bet is to make sure the one you're taking home with you is working 100%.

and if it is 100% like most seem to be, you will not regret this purchase. The amp is the bomb.

Everyone's comments are valid but please, let's not turn this topic into another fizz debate.

I don't think the thread is anywhere near a debate. I for one am glad that this issue was brought up, I was completely unaware of it and this helps a whole lot. :)

I picked my M3 up this past summer for the same promo price, no regrets at all. For the price of 1 or 2 pedals you get a music store in a nice black case. The ability to edit on the fly without a laptop and Fuse is just icing on a very tasty cake.

Enjoy,
John.E

Hi Scott,

I know what you're saying, and that was NOT the intent, I only mentioned it so that as one who is interested in making a purchase for something to be aware of.

A a piece of advice to anyone considering the Mustang series: go to a Guitarcenter or similar big store and pick your favorite guitar. Go around and compare what's out there for a couple hours if possible, try not to look at the price tag (as this WILL condition your judgement), don't be afraid to compare modeling amps and tube amps they are not far appart in terms on sound (judge by yourself).

I did that a couple weeks ago and compared all the Iine 6, marshall, vox and mesa around, I also added into the mix all the fender real tube amps around. I came back home very happy to play my Mustang 3 :)
