I have tried a few times to do a firmware upgrade on my Mustang V though fender fuse, it seems to last forever and i havent been patient enough to wait for a completion sign, when i say this, i mean about close on an hour later. How long should a firmware update take as im sure it isnt working for me.

What version of FUSE are you using?? Does it communicate with the amp normally otherwise? Did you get any error messages, or just an endless wait? What does the LCD on the amp show during this period? Have you tried downloading the update again from the website?

An update should take just a few minutes.

Nothing on amp screen just a blank light, no error messages just an endless wait. Version is fuse 2.6 which i think is the latest. If I redownload fuse will the redownload maintain everything ive stored, but like i said this is the latest version. And yes, everything else is fine with the amp communication. I havent long had the mustang V so would this happen if the firmware is up to date maybe, but id still think it would give a fireware up to date message.
