Hello everyone,
Just started the forum and new amp to play with. Need advice though, I have tendency to bash my way through things thought maybe I should ask first.
Can I put downloaded presets where ever I want.
I read how to factory reset the presets but can I over do it. I am a wierd kind of player I can learn songs but am unable to jam or create, there fore3 i may want to change presets frequently youkam to greenday, black sabbath to seether kind of jump all over. been reading everything I can about the amp in prep for myguitar and beer night tommorow I want to load some presets. Advice is not only needed but very appreciated.

You could be asking several things here.

If you mean, can you store the downloaded presets anywhere on your computer, then the answer is yes. However you may find it easier to work with FUSE's standard folders, as it will then find the downloaded presets automatically rather than you having to specify the location each time you want to open one. Even better, use FUSE directly to download the presets, then it will put them in the best place.

If you mean, can you replace any preset on the amp with another preset (either one you've downloaded or one you've made yourself) then the answer is yes - mostly. I don't have a M-1 but I think you can overwrite 16 of the 24, if not all 24.

Not quite sure what you're asking, but if you're worried that you may get to a point where the original presets can't be restored, then no that shouldn't happen. Whatever you've done to the presets, a factory reset will always restore the original ones.

Something else you could do, is take a backup of the whole amp to your PC (using FUSE) before you change anything. You'll then have a guaranteed copy of the original presets. This may also help you if you have lots of presets you want to change on the amp regularly. You could download one set to the amp, create a backup of that. Then download the next set and create a backup of those too, etc. So rather than having to download lots of individual presets every time you do a big change, you could just restore the appropriate backup to the amp in a single operation.

Not sure if that answers what you're asking, but hope it's helpful...

Same as above. You can store your own presets on the amp. The red and green you can save on the amp itself, without Fuse. The amber can only be saved to the amp through Fuse. If you try to save a preset on the amber on the amp itself the amp will go to another color and if you push save again it will overwrite to that instead of the amber (overwriting that one instead).

You can sore 24 on the amp at any one time. You could, for example, store one bank (say green) for country, another (say red) for another type of music and so on.

You can then back those up on the computer through Fuse and that set can be reloaded to the amp through Fuse. You can then make more sets and save them on the computer trough Fuse. You can make as many as you wish, store them on the computer, and can load any set back to the amp through Fuse.

The most helpful thing would be the advanced manual here.
