Hey guys, not a huge deal, but I noticed with my replacement amp that there's like a half degree of discrepancy between the physical knob position, and the Fender Fuse knob position.

So when I put all the knobs to 5 on the amp, it points to 6 in the fuse software. Like I said, it isnt a HUGE deal, there all consistent with each other, but if there was a way to calibrate them back to center, I'd like to do that.

Thanks guys.

Pull the knob off the pot, rotate it 1 spline clockwise and stick it back on the pot  You can thank me later.

wouldn't it then point to '1' when he has the pot turned down to '0'? Unless it currently point to '-1' when he has it on '0' that is...

Actually, I just checked, that won't work because the pot stem is a flat side stem not splined. Oh well, no need to thank me, really.

There's no way to realign the knob, but for Mustang 3, 4, and 5, there's a debug mode which allows you to recalibrate all the knobs.

Also, keep in mind: THERE IS NO 0 ON FENDER KNOBS. No, I mean that quite literally. 1=0. So the midpoint of the knob isn't 5, it's 5.5, or 5+1/2.

To get into Debug mode, hold down the Tap/Tuner button while you turn the amp on. Once the debug screen comes up on the LCD panel, turn all of your dials on the amp from completely off to full on and back. Watch the number values on the LCD change to reflect the results. Then shut the amp off and power it back on. Those knobs should be fully calibrated.

I usually leave all of my knobs on 1 (off) anyway, except the Master Volume. What's the point when all the knobs are basically off when you change presets anyway?
