Hello,
Has anybody tried a Mustang Floor with a Pro Junior or even a Blues Junior? I have a Pro Junior that I bought from a guy and love it. What I am thinking is that the presets and the effects pedals on the Mustang Floor alone save so much money without having to buy so many pedals for the Junior.

Thanks in advance.

From other posts here, people use the M-Floor successfully with all sorts of amps, I see no reason for a Pro Junior or Blues Junior to be any different (I can't comment personally as I have an M-IV).

If you want to use the M-Floor solely for the effects, and not have it interfere with the raw tone/sound of your amplifier, you can turn off the amp modelling in the M-Floor and use it just as a multi-fx unit. Simply press the 'amp' button I believe and its light will go out.

I purchased the floor for the same reason, but the amp modeling is excellent as well. I ha ve a Blues Jr, but I've only played mine through my '78 silver face champ, and also through my Marshall class 5. The classic Fender amp models sound great through both, so I assume they would throught the BJR as well. But...

It sounds best when run in stereo through both amps! Sure glad I bought mine!

Thanks guys for the responses. I am glad to report that I went and bought a Mustang Floor this weekend and absolutely love it! It does sound great (imho) through the Pro Jr as well as my little Champion 600 as well as my Sennheiser head phones (LOL). I had a Mustang III and loved it too but I sold it just because I have 4 other Fender combo amps and felt that this floor would give me the best of both worlds and it does.

fwiw - I was looking at all of the Mustang Models at Guitar Center this weekend when I picked up my Floor. I just want to say this entire Mustang line is not only great sounding but the overall quality, appearance and workmanship are above and beyond as well. I am amazed at the quality/price point. I am really excited about my Floor. Very, very good job Fender!!

Thanks again for both of your responses,

Anthony
