Anyone know if there is a way to load more than 1 type of pedal or rack effect. If I try to add a mod in the rack it wipes out the pedal or vise verse...
It would be nice to combine say a wah wah with a chorus. I could be interesting to stack echos at different rates.

Hi minnella,

Are you referring to loading more than one of each effect type? Or are you referring to simply loading more than one effect, period? If you are referring to loading more than one of a specific effect type, then you are correct that you can only load one of each effect type at one time. Please let us know if we can assist further.

You can have one stompbox effect at a time, plus one modulation effect, plus one delay effect, plus one reverb effect, plus one insert effect if you have an external effect connected into the insert loop. Page 4 of the Mustang Floor manual has a chart showing which effects are available under each category. You can have one in each category going at the same time. So there's no problem having the wah and the chorus on at the same time because the wah is a stompbox effect and the chorus is a modulation effect. However, stacking echoes would require more than one delay effect at a time, which doesn't happen with the Mustangs. You could have a Mustang delay going and also insert one or more delay effects into the effect loop - that's the only way to get multiple delays.

Thanks guys..it sounds like you can double up using the insert but not on pedals and rack effects. I will give it a try

You'll want to be using the insert button to expand with say a pedal board.
The Mustangs are not MFX boards so much. Ideal for players who don't do the pedal thing and want to do a little recording too.

Have to say, many modelers sans effects seems to get better results. YMMV
