Post subject: Mustang III Bricked after Failed 1.10 update. Will not reset

Hey everyone, I tried updating to the latest firmware for the Mustang 3 which is version 1.10. I had the previous version of Fender FUSE software to the current one at the time but have since uninstalled it and reinstalled the most up to date version. The update failed and since then I am getting a white screen on the amp with a flashing red save button. I have tried numerous times to reset the amp to the factory setting, but no luck. Following the instructions for a reset and the exit button will not Illuminate no matter how long I hold it down. I got it to light up once but the reset did not take and i have been unable to duplicate it since. Fuse no longer recognizes the amp preventing a redo of the update. Any advice or recommendations would be awesome, cause I haven't been able to play in a while. Thanks everybody.

Your Fender Mustang should not actually be bricked. It is likely become temporarily stuck in update mode. Please contact us via email. Be sure to include your Forum name, real name and text from this thread as well as your computer specifications and installed version of Fender FUSE. Then we can go from there. Thanks much.
