Hi all, my first post here but have read for a while now. First thing is I have solved the Mustang "fizz" problem. Sold my Mustang IV ( no fizz but not waiting to find out if it develops) then bought a Fender Ultimate Chorus and the Fender Mustang floor. I have a couple of questions on the Floor unit. I am familiar with the Mustang functions and Fuse but the floor also has a few differences. All Firmware and software is up to date, 1.4 on floor and 2.6.0 on Fuse. Questions...

1. Is there a tutorial video somewhere on the exp. pedal settings and setup? I don't seem to be able to get a full grasp on the setting terminology. Coming from the Roland camp ( still there also, GT10 and GR55), I'm trying to get the overall picture of the settings and how they work. I get some of it but some are still vague.

2. One function on the Mustang IV that seems to be absent on the Floor ( not sure if it is a version thing ) on the IV, pressing the AMP button would toggle back and forth between pg 1 and pg 2 for amp settings. This does not seem to be the case on the Floor. You have to tediously scroll thru to get to the next or previous page. Is this function present in a previous or an up coming version?

3. Are the effects loop send and receive jacks on the floor, TRS ( stereo in and out) or TS ( mono in and out)?

I'm sure I may have other questions later but this will suffice for now. Thanks in advance for your input and direction.

To answer your third question: the Mustang Floor fx loop is mono. It's also the first thing in the signal chain, immediately after the guitar input and before any of the DSP modelling or effects.

NB - it's already been noted in other topics that this means it isn't an effects loop at all - it's no different, sonically, to putting the 'loop' devices inline with the connection to the guitar input. The only advantage to using the loop is that you can turn all the loop effects on and off together with a single button on the Floor.

NB2 - the Floor effects loop differs from that on the Mustang amps. On the amps, the loop comes after all the DSP effects, immediately before the power amp. Also, on the M4 and M5, it's a stereo loop.

Thank you for your answer to question 3. I am experimenting on which way to use the floor with the Fender Ultimate Chorus amp which has a mono and stereo effects loop. Right now I have it going from mono send to input on the Floor and unbalanced out L and R from the Floor to stereo return on the amp, just using effects only from the Floor. Sweet clean sounds. Have also tried going from Floor direct to stereo return but am undecided at this point how much I will want the modeling. More time will tell. I've only had this combination a couple of days.
