Hi people
I have a problem with my fender fuse software I think.
When I change presets the sound changes but the display on my pc does not change. This only happens on presets that are the same and in succession.
For example I have 3 british 60 presets in a row when I go to the first one the screen changes but the two after that all the dials stay the same but the sound does change. If I go to one of the other amps like the Johnny Marr clean and back to british 60s it shows what I have adjusted but then I would go to british 60s preset after that the dials do not change on my pc but the sound does change.
I hope I have explained things right.
I have tried the fuse software on two of my pc's and they are doing both the same.
The led on the amp works perfect. This is only happening on the fuse software on my pc.

Any help would be great thanks.

You are asking a Fender Fuse question in the Fender Mustang subforum. Try your same query over here

Fender FUSE™ Software (2010 - Current)
viewforum.php?f=26

I was one of your 74 views, but did not know the answer so I declined to comment, as it would only muddy up your thread. Sorry for the lack of response overall, the admins here are great and will surely spot your question when it's posted in the appropriate area of the forums. Yes, this is indeed a great Fender forum. Enjoy!

exactly!

I've never encountered what you're seeing, so I had nothing to offer.

I think you'll eventually see that we all try to help if we feel can add any value to discussion thread.

Ahh I see you did post this in the Fuse section of the forum, 5 days before this post:

viewtopic.php?f=26&t=76253

This is not an easy question, because there are so many variables. I think the problem probably lies somewhere in your operating system/hardware/software config on your computer, but that just based on the fact that so many people have Fuse installed and working without issue.

One place you could start is with your video card (maybe it's just a display error). Try downloading the display driver from your computer manufacturer's website, uninstall the current driver, and install the downloaded driver. I would try this even if the driver posted on the manufacturer's website is the same as what's already installed.

Also, make sure you have all applicable Windows Updates installed. This software uses Microsoft Silverlight.

Hmmm? Haven't seen that either.
Have you copied the presets that are the same or did you create each on from scratch?
I can tell you this though, this is a great forum with alot of knowledeable people that are very willing to help. Also, Fender support will do their best to help too.
I also had some Fuse glitches at first and had to update and re-install some things to get it working..

I have tried it on both my pc's and it does the same thing.I did a factory reset and updated it and it is still the same.
I will just have to live with it.I think the problem is with the software in the amp.
Does anyone know what the warranty is on these?

Not sure about the warranty details. Can you please post:

Version of FUSE you updated to?
Version of amp Firmware you updated to?
What operating system on the 2 computers?
What version of Internet Explorer is installed on each of the computers?

Trying it on 2 computers probably ruled out the graphics card (unless the same exact card is on both), but not the Windows Updates. Did you check for available Windows Updates on both computers?

Unlikely, because then everyone would see the same problem - and as others have noted, that doesn't seem to be the case (no-one who's replied here, including me, has this problem, and I've never seen it reported by anyone else).

For the same reason, it's also unlikely to be FUSE per se. It's unfortunately most likely something on your computer(s), and I can empathise that can be frustratingly difficult to diagnose. I second the suggestions made by others for things to check.

You could also contact Fender directly; whereas they read these forums, they don't necessarily notice every post. Their email address is in the signature to all their posts, and they seem to encourage people to get in touch with them when there are tricky problems such as this.

the 'basics' are as follows:

FIRMWARE 1.10

FUSE 2.6.0

Internet Explorer 8 or later

Install Microsoft Silverlight and all updates

Update your computer's display and sound card drivers to current version

Hey... I just spotted this in the FUSE forum:

"...Fixed issue where Presets with like assigned amp models were not displaying amp channel settings correctly when selected (i.e. 00-01-02 with same model selected..."

Sounds very similar to your problem? The above is one of the fixes in the latest (beta) version of FUSE. Maybe you could try that and see if it fixes your issue too?

Hi, I had the same basic problem, Fender responded and told me to delete Silverlight and Fuse and then check for earlier versions of Fuse in my computer which I had , and delete those. They also detailed a bunch of other steps, which I couldn't do. But nonetheless after deleting and reloading Silverlight and Fuse from the sites they sent links for, they have been working fantastically ever since. Fender's response was very thorough and as helpfull as could be. I posted about the same time you did and I see my post is on the same page as yours, page 2 of the Mustang forum.
Best, Mikey Dread

I suspect OP either solved this problem, or doesn't care enough to try.
