Can you be more explicit?

- Does it switch to the next preset in sequence, as though you had turned the knob?

- Does it turn one of the effects within the preset on/off, as though you'd pressed the relevant effect button?

- Does it do this on any preset, or only when particular presets are selected?

- Does it always change in the same way (eg always go 'up' a preset rather than 'down', or always turn an effect 'on' rather than 'off') or is the change random?

- Any other characteristics you can identify of what changes, in what way, and when? And also, under what circumstances does it not change?

I had this happen one day on my Mustang II. I thought maybe I was overloading the input stack of the DSP. As it turned out, I just had the amp turned way too loud and the vibrations from the speaker were making one of my effects knobs turn. That turned on an effect, which made the SAVE button glow red at me.

If you wanted to play loud, you should have gone with the Mustang III. That's why I got the Mustang V half-stack. Now THAT puppy gets LOUD!

Hi habex,

I would suggest that you may want to try updating the firmware on your amp. Please see the information below. And let us know if we can assist further and if a firmware update corrects the behavior you are seeing. You will need to use the Fender FUSE software to do this. If you do not already have it, please see the link below to get that as well. Thanks.
