Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead and cleaned up the organization of the effects, as you suggested. Still needs some work, but I'll do that together with other edits/corrections/feedback that I hope to get over the next few days.

Here's an updated link to an updated Quick Guide.

It looks like the pdf Quick Guide (which I posted in several places) has been downloaded a few hundred times, but I didn't get much feedback or corrections, etc.

I decided that it'd probably work better to move it to a Wiki. It'd be easier for others to make updates and it'd be searchable on the Web. Here's the link to the Unofficial Fender Mustang Amps and Fender Fuse Software Wiki.

As is the nature of Wikis, and together with the fact that I've gotten a little burned out on the project, additions, corrections, etc. are welcome.

Thanks, man. But, I don't want the Internet. Just that tiny sliver of it with the nudie-pictures.

Bump, because this thread has been buried by 3 years of neglect. Dusting it off for just a bit, even though a lot of people probably have moved on to the GT amps now. I'm still rocking my Mustang II and V v.1 amps.

EDIT: *checks the original thread* Well $@!&, all my pictures got taken down from sharing by a change to Photobucket's 3rd party hosting policy, so all those pictures I spent hours creating are not showing up now. I still have the pictures, but I now have no way to host them. I MAY think about creating a document with that stuff, but what would be the point? Fender no longer produces them.

Good to see you've revived the thread! My MIV v.2 and MIII v.2 are still also still working just fine. Even though I have stepped up to Helix Floor w/ FRFR Monitors, I often used Mustangs as powered cabs with the Helix for a full on amp in the room configuration and in w/d/w.

Long-time-no-see!

I can't stop plugging in to my newly restored 69 Super Reverb, but I still have the v1 Mustang III to bring as a lightweight backup amp for the bigger gigs. I really have to set them up side by side some day and see how close I can get the Mustang to sound like the Super.

Ok, so I copied all the stuff I posted in this thread and re-attached all the pictures to it. The problem is... this Real Text Format (RTF) document (WordPad) is now 57MB in size, and I'm pretty sure blows way past the file size limitation on Fender's Forum here.

Do you have dropbox? You could put it in your public folder and share it that way.
