I recently purchased the Mustang V :D . I'm in the process of downloading presets from the FUSE. However I really want to Group my presets according to the AMP.....(all '65 Twin presets together ie "00-01-02"............etc). I started to group them and found that I'm "Overwriting" the previous presets for that location  . And the presets that were overwritten seem to be lost. Their not in the library or any other file I've searched. No real biggie, I created them once I can do it again.

So my question is: Do I need to move the presets that I want to keep to locations......presets that I don't want to keep AND THEN organize them by amp type?

Oh, by the way.....Hi to all the members here. I'm a "Newbie" here. Just in case you couldn't tell.
Thanks for any help or suggestion.

Hi Tele130,

I will be happy to help. Whenever you save a Preset from the Fender FUSE software to your Fender Mustang V amplifier, it is important to backup the existing Preset in that slot in order not to lose them. Any Presets transferred to your amp will overwrite the existing Preset in that slot. The best way for you to organize your Presets is to manually transfer them "one at a time" to the desired Preset slot, that way you will get to organize your Presets in the order you want. Once you've done this, we recommend performing a backup (using Fender FUSE) so can restore the amp back to it's customized state in case something happens. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

Cheers,

Thank you very much "Cheers" :)

I figured with 100 factory Presets I'd never use them all. So in order to keep my most used selections close at hand I just started at "00" and worked my way back(only to "18". And I doubt I'll use that many..........at least right now  ). Thanks again. This Mustang V is really something when running it in Stereo..........holy cow!!!!

If I may ask one last question on this thread............................

I have noticed the bottom end of this cabinet really "BOOMS"!!!!! Will this become less prominent as the speakers get broken in? Some presets require the Bass level to be turned down to almost "0".

Yes. It's only one week out of the box.

I remember reading here some time back about the "boominess" of the bottom end on the 4x12 cab. Do a search for the thread because I think there was a solution found or at least a work around.
