I just recently purchased a Mustang II, I wanted to try out some of the presets that are availble on the site. so I downloaded the Green Day one. but I do not know where to download it to or what folder I can place the presets into so that I can use them. currently I have the three folders that are installed with the software. any help would be appreciated.

You have two (at least) options, both using FUSE. I'm sure other people will suggest more.

1. Use FUSE itself to download the preset. Within FUSE, you can login to your FUSE online account and access the presets download area. Once you have the preset downloaded to your FUSE media library, you can transfer it to the amp (see note below).

2. If the preset is already on your local disk somewhere, use FUSE to 'import' the preset to its media library. Then, as in 1 above, transfer it to the amp.

Note it's not immediately or intuitively obvious how to transfer a preset from the FUSE library to your amp. With FUSE's library view on the screen, right-click the preset you want, and one of the options displayed will save the preset to the amp. You can choose the preset number etc at this point.

You can probably get the preset into your FUSE library by manually copying the file to the right folder, but why worry about that when FUSE will do it for you. Also, you have to use FUSE for the second part of the job (copying the preset to the amp) so you may as well use FUSE for the whole task.

I figured out the issue. I had the LE version which was not picking up my Amp or my downloaded presets. so I downloaded the full versions and it was able to update the amp driver to see the amp and also allowed me to see my saved presets now. so thank you for the assistance in any regards!

Hi Boneyard76,

I wanted to chime in here and see if we could assist a bit further. And thanks much to scott-uk for his assistance here as well. So, we do not actually have an 'LE' version of the Fender FUSE software. There is just the one application type. The current public build of the software can be found here: https://fuse.fender.com, on the left hand sidebar of the home page. Once you get the software downloaded and installed, you can log into your Fender FUSE Community account and begin downloading Presets. Be sure to select the correct Preset type (Mustang, G-DEC 3, etc.) for your amp.

You will want to be sure to download Preset files to the following file path: Documents\Fender\FUSE\Presets. This way, Fender FUSE can see the files you have downloaded an you can use them in the Media Library section of the software to add to your amp. Please let us know if we can assist further.
