Does anyone know how to change the default parameter values for individual amps or effects? For example, say I want the treble to default to 5 when I'm editing a preset and change the amp type to a Princeton.

Alternatively, is there a way to keep the settings of the previous amp when changing the amp type?

Not saying I am the only person to answer,
but I am just getting used to Fender Software as well = FUSE.
But, this complete Fender website has some dedicated sections for the Mustang
Which amp are you using? Mustang? which number? What year?
Go to the search engine and ask your question there.

I agree this is frustrating. Every time I select "British 70s" the gain jumps to 10. I too would like to be able to change what the defaults are (in this specific case, a gain of 3-ish).

But I don't think this can be done, either on the amp or in FUSE - at least, I can't find a way. If it can be done, I'd love to know how! Fender Folks, please can you add this to the growing-list of requests for future firmware or FUSE updates?

If there isn't enough memory for the extra code/data to have additional default settings in the firmware, at least make the amp settings match those the user set last time that amp was selected - or if even that's not possible, just leave the settings at their current values. What the user did last time (or is currently doing) is usually going to be closer to what the user wants to do next time than always reverting back to an arbitrary default - particularly if that default is at one extreme of the range (as in gain of 10 above).

Actually, I think this may be the rare case of a genuinely new question; I don't recall having seen a previous topic about this.

I searched but I didn't see anything answering the question. I'm using the Mustang Floor, but I would think this applies to all of the Mustang series.
