Maybe some with some insight could help me out here. I am one one of those totally retentive people that does everything in my power to take care of my gear. IE: most of the time when I trade something in or sell it outright I get asked if it's new. Which amp cover in lieu of a specific Mustang III cover will best fit my new Mustang III amp.

Appreciation in advance for your info.

I have SEVEN Vintage Fender Combo Amps, all with covers as well.
Good people and good service.

Ask for Cindy or Glenn and tell them that Toppscore sent you.
They will give you a great deal in pricing and or service
depending upon your order. Good luck. Toppscore :)

Actually, unstated from the amp cover suppliers, are a couple of interesting things.

I've also purchsed from five other amp cover manufacturers as well and settled upon
two, Custom Amp Covers and over-the-pond with an English cover maker.

I liked them both. But, CAC would go ahead and make two of mine as custom
as they had not had the covers ordered before. To me, if I was in the business,
I'd want to have all the odd ball covers, cause the first time, you may lose mony,
but you can advertise you have the hard to find covers. Right?

But the English would not do anything to make the two.
So, I went with CAC.

IMHO, the lining is nice, but it absorbs moisture and helps keep corrosion & rust
to lower levels. So, make sure you get lined amp covers.
I believe CAC only ships with felt lining.

Make sure to tell them Toppscore recommended you.
Good luck. Toppscore

Studio Slips.
They make a clamshell which zips up the entire amp, including the bottom.

I don't know if we can promote non-Fender products
or products that compete against Fender's on this Forum.
What do you think?

Thanks for all the info from everyone. I don't believe there has really been any promotion of anything here, just showing what each player is using for a cover or found best results/preference. Now, due a slight oversight in the budgeting/accounting department, I need to wait a weeks or so to get a cover for the amp I slightly overspent on  . Tonight is filling all the "Slots" with the "Empty" tone and friday we will unleash the "Mad scientist" in me for tone creation  .

Perfectly happy to help.
Show us some pre-cover amp pictures
and some post-cover pictures.

Hahaha ~ Howdy Mr Pot! At least you can read :D
Mr Pot, notice my posting was before Fender TSL's post
working with the OP's thread.

Now, with more of a "bigger" picture to view,
hopefully you will sleep tonight

At least, do you even like the photos or amps or amp covers?
My feelings are hurt :(

Best cover for the Mustang III in my opinion:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/D2F-Padded-Cove ... 564c1f03ef

I've dealt with D2F Covers for years and like them even better than StudioSlips and Tuki.

Jowertz ~ Personally, I'd like to procure D2F covers as well.
But, the covers I presented are very good at 1/3rd the price.
I did buy at a bulk discount.
But, quality and price were factors.
I checked several low end to medium priced covers.
All the time, the Tuki's and D2F's were just too high to justify
the expense. Of course, this is my humble opinion.

If the D2F's were less, I'd love to have them as well.
Someday, I will get the D2F and Tuki, or stop by a store to compare.

Jowertz, thanks for bringing up Toki and D2F covers. Toppscore :)
