Guys, Geartree is selling a Fender 4-button footswitch on eBay and they are saying it will control the tap tempo on a Mustang III. This is not true. The title of the auction is "Fender Mustang MIII 4-Button Foot Switch with Set TAP Interval" and the auction number is 360484361401. This footswitch will NOT control the tap tempo on a Mustang III.

Yup, you gotta use the included two-button foot switch for tap tempo. The manual is clear on this. Also, it's clear from the Utility menu as well.
Weird, I bought this exact switch, didn't even notice.
What is cool, though, is that you can set the tempo for modulation effects using both the two and four button foot switches.
It is indeed shocking, but you can't believe everything you read on the interwebs.
