Hey guys,

I was playing around trying to configure the overdrive stomp to sound as close as possible to a Tubescreamer TS9.
Unfortunatelly I do not have the real TS pedal but I have another emulation from a Digitech processor, so I tried to make it as close as possible to it. The TS9 emulation was connected on the Mustang input for comparisson.

This is the closest I got:

TScreamer TS9 extreme drive settings:
Drive 100%
Tone 50%
Level 100%

Equivalent Overdrive stomp settings:
Level 8
Gain 7.5
Low 1
Mid 8
High 6.5

TScreamer TS9 mid drive settings:
Drive 50%
Tone 50%
Level 50%

Equivalent Overdrive stomp settings:
Level 3
Gain 6.5
Low 1
Mid 8
High 6.5

I wonder if anybody with access to a real TScreamer could check to improve on my settings.

Jedi2b,i use the behringer TO800 tube overdrive pedal with my mustang V and it sounds very good with it and much better then the mustangs overdrive, this pedal is in demand now and i think the price is higher now,it is about 37.00 but that still is a good price for the TO800,i bought mine about 3 years ago and the price then was around 30.00.

The behringer TO100 tube overdrive pedal is also a good choice and would be good to use with your mustang and i think it is less money then the TO800,you should be able to get it for around 30.00 or less.

Wow - that thing sounds great. You can hear it here:
TO800

It's running about $39. The 100 is around $24. You can hear it hear it here:
TO100

I can't tell what the difference is in them yet, but I'm pretty sure one of
them is coming to my mailbox soon.

I have one of those Beri TO800 stuck in front of my Floor, sounds great. I have three budget stock pedals that work really well in front of the floor.
Guitar->EH Soul Preacher->Beri TO800->Boss DS-1->Mustang Floor
Gets it right there and for some real fun all three punched on is pretty awesome..

I use my Hardwire CM-2 and Fulltone Fulldrive 2 sometimes as well, but those two usually stay on my pedal board for my tube amps.

I have a DOD Ice Box Chorus and a Boss BF-3 Flanger in the effects loop of the Floor, which adds a little flavor as well, those two pedals can get me the EH Electric Mistress sound I like for Floyd stuff.

On another note, I ordered a Zoom G5 to setup another practice and recording rig. I will see if the tone can compare to my Mustang Floor. I had a Zoom G92tt for a little while, but the Mustang Floor blew it out of my effects chain and I sold it because of the better tone from the Floor. I hope that the Zoom G5 sounds better than the G92tt because I really like what I am observing. Nine effects in the chain and you can arrange them however you want to in the chain. That kicks $@!, and it has a 60 second looper and an Acoustic Sim.
I just don't think it is going to give me the tone, like the Mustang Floor can though...
