The choice of differnet sounds is great, but I would like to store my favourite ones in a bunch, say no 1-10. How can I change the order, e.g. make no 68 no 3 instead?

Use FUSE. It's a two-step process, and admittedly not intuitive. Copy the preset from the amp to FUSE's "library" then you can right-click the preset in the library to save it back to the amp - that then gives you the option to specify which preset number on the amp to use.

Probably easiest to do this using the 'library' area in the Fuse software with the amp connected - would be even easier IF Fuse had drag and drop (don't get me started !)

However, you can also do it on the amp without Fuse.

Using your example : Dial to preset 68, make a small change to something e.g volume, and the save button will light up, undo the small change - the save button will remain lit. Then dial to preset 3 and hit the Save button. Voila - preset 68 in slot 3 !

Seems a bit messy I know, but I don't know of a better, quicker way (other than the non-existent drag and drop) - someone else may have a cleverer way ?

You can do it right from the amp its simple, hit the save button and then you can use the data wheel to choose where to save it once you select the patch number hit save again and your done. I edit and group my patches as well its much easier to navigate when playing live!

::::poof!:::: it goes away, but you can always download it again. If you want to keep that preset, move it to a different slot first.

In FUSE, you can just click SAVE in Preset Editer and then type in the new preset number, no need to store it anywhere first. It's just like doing it on the amp. :idea:

FWIW... Here's what I've done when simply working via the physical amp interface (not FUSE): I've decided to use one preset space as a "transfer slot". (Personally, I picked #99 because it's always easy to remember as the logical last-in-line. Anyway, I can always restore it—and besides, it's a bare bones preset to begin with so I didn't care all that much.)

So... say that you really like the SuperLive Album preset (original preset #05) and want to move it to the #00 slot so that it's always the one that turns on whenever you turn the amp on. (This is what I did, BTW.) BUT let's say that you also like that preset #00, also, and you simply wish to move it somewhere else...

1) Copy the original #00 preset over to the #99 slot (of course, overwriting that original #99 in the process);

2) Copy SuperLive Album (original preset #05) over into that (now redundant) slot #00;

3) Finally, Copy the original #00 preset—now sitting temporarily in slot #99—into the (now redundant) slot #05 (where that original SuperLive Album preset still sits)... and Save it there.

This is sorta like that little ol' tile game where you push one tile out of the way... so that another tile can be moved... and eventually the entire puzzle picture comes clear! :)

I'm sure that it's all even simpler with FUSE, but, personally, I haven't really found a big need yet to dive into the software end of things (I definitely intend to someday, but working entirely via the LCD screen so far hasn't proved to be too hard to deal with at all. YMMV, of course.)
