Hey,

Brand new to the Fender Forum. I recently made a trip to Argentina and brought with me my Fender Mustang I to practice these weeks that I have to stay in the country.
The problem was that I didn"t know they use a voltage of 220 v instead of 110 (I have the 110 model). So when I plugged in the Mustang it turned on but after a few seconds it just died on me. I couldnt turn it back. When I later realized about the difference I bought a transformer. But it was too late and it wouldn't turn on. :(
Do you guys think it has blown some part of the circuit? (There was no smell or smoke. It just simply stopped working) or it could be a blown fuse?

Thanks

I'm sure you caused damage to your unit, hopefully just the power supply which can be fixed. It's probably going to be an expensive repair.
