Turn on amp and turn up volume and master to highest settings and no sound.Just bought this 7/17/12 at guitar center. I have it registered.I am going to call the service center located near my area and find out when I can bring it in for service. I believe this is the best course of action to take.I wonder how many others have had this experience with their new amp.

check the simple things?

like, are the speaker wires properly connected?

try a different cable from the guitar to the amp?

try different presets and moving all the volume and tone controls?

Guitar Center has I think a 45 day return policy (at least 30) Go back there and show them what's up. they may very well just exchange it for you. Do it soon before the "no questions asked" return thing runs out.

Mine has been rock solid, got it in June.

try plugging in a set of headphones to the headphone jack, than unplug it. Still nothing?

Hi fadeawayamp,

Assuming that you have a known working guitar and cable, I would suggest that you go back to GC and do an exchange, rather than going the Service Center route. You can also try a reset to see if that corrects the issue. To do a reset of your amp, press/hold the Exit button while powering on the amp. Once powered on, the amp will be back to factory stock. Please feel free to contact us directly if we can be of further assistance. Thanks.
