Hi There
I have tried tweaking some parameters.
Let's say I want to Tweak 'precisely' the Mono Delay I have selected.
A guy sent me a preset:
Mono delay LVL:21.9 Delay:245ms FDback:20.1 Bright: 50.1 Attnuat: 50.1
If I try to 'tweak' it my way, using the rollerwheel on my mouse, this is what I get.
Mono delay LVL:21.1 Delay:245ms FDback:21.11 Bright: 50.9 Attnuat: 50.9
Is there a trick somewhere???
It seems that I cannot get the exact value as it shifts to higher or lower value If I roll 'forward' or 'backward'
Thanks for the feedback!

Hi ubijoux,

You should be able to dial in a specific value for the selected parameters. Have you tired a second mouse or input device? Please let us know how it is going and we can try to reproduce here as well.Thanks.

I understand what the OP is talking about. I have the same problem.
It didn't bother me too much, but it's there. I figure it could be fixed
by changing to a higher screen resolution, but maybe not.

Hi ubijoux, There is a fine adjustment you need to use. To do this point to the control knob you want to adjust, press down the mouse left button and hold it down. Now hold down the shift key on your keyboard. Now when you move the mouse up or down the value of the knob will be incremented slowly. If you want to increment in larger values release the shift key. Moving the mouse up and down or using just the scroll wheel on the mouse will result in larger increments of the value for the knob.
Hope this helps.

That's the ticket. Works great. Thanks.

[edit] BTW - this is a nice, unobtrusive setting for some fullness.

Hi John
Thanks for your info and it works..how come there is no help in the Mustang booklet to inform us about that??
What I was doing is use the roll wheel on my mouse...but it is not as precise as yours!
Great job..I hope this will help the others who must have been searching for that tip!

Glad this help you both.
Maybe Allan can make this a sticky, so as the post is always on page one.
I would hope that the manual gets updated to include this information.
Cheers!

Hi Guys,

My oversight. And thanks JohnR242 for chiming in here. I will add a sticky for this.

Cheers,

Alan

Alan,

How about a Fender Mustang Wiki maintained by Fender and the forum members? Rather than searching the forum, it would be great to have a place to post information like this along with other enhancements that aren't in the manual (thanks again for the firmware update to allow changing the mids from the amp). I have found so much good information on this forum, to have it all readily available on one menu would be fantastic. I can see it now... the existing stickies plus Sag and Bias, Cab info, Effects controls...

Just a thought.

Hi yachter,

Thanks for your input here. That is an excellent suggestion. We will take that up for consideration. It would be a fairly large undertaking given the amount of products and variables that exist. But it is a really good idea. Please let us know if you have any other feedback or thoughts.

This seems not to work on my fender Fuse unfortunately.

Hi Itneveris, Sorry to hear your having problems. Make sure you have the latest software and firmware installed. Also, make sure you are holding down the left mouse button while moving the mouse up and down over the knob you want to adjust. If you still have trouble I would try another mouse and see if that helps.
Good luck.

Hi itneveris,

What kind of operating system are you running (Mac or Win)? And which version of either are you currently on? Thanks.

I believe I'm on Windows 7, and FUSE should have the latest update. I'm on a Laptop, and have yet to try with a USB mouse, but I will soon.

Hi itneveris,

Thanks for following up with this information. Perhaps your track pad has not been setup to function the same way as a standard mouse would? Ideally, it should have been setup from the factory this way. But you might want to check this first. And perhaps double check with a standard mouse as well. And please let us know how it is going and if you are able to access this feature. Thanks.
