Please can someone help!!!!!!!!
Forgive me if i'm asking a stupid question but in the following link http://www.fender.com/en-GB/support/art ... io-driver/ there is a step by step video intrusion of how to do something with Ableton live fender, i have redeemed and found my serial number but when he clicks on hardware setup he has different options to click on, mine has mustang 1 and stuff and his has USB or something?
I'm not sure what to do and forgive me if this is a stupid question and sorry for being vague but i wish to record with my Mustang 1 with Albeton and i had no idea how, i'm not sure if the part above has anything to do with recording but is there any step by step video of how to record with your fender mustang 1 amp using albeton fender edition for PC??? Thanks for the help (if i get any lol)

Hi jake101010,

I would be happy to assist. So let me ask you first, did you successfully install your Ableton Live Lite Fender Edition software. If so, I would be happy to guide you through a basic ASIO setup, and get your signal flow working with your Fender Mustang I amp. I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi jake101010,

We are happy to help. So, it seems to me like you watched the tutorial video on our website where we have a Fender G-DEC 3 amp connected. The Fender G-DEC 3 amp is both an input and output device, but none of our Fender Mustang devices have the output feature. So here is what I suggest you do. With your Mustang amp connected, Launch Ableton Software and go to the Options/Preferences (through Main Menu, on top) and click the Sound tab. Access the Hardware Configuration button to open the ASIO settings. Your Mustang amp should now be visible in the ASIO window. If so, click the "+" symbol and select the Mustang Amp as your Input device. Now, go to your Sound Card settings, click the "+" symbol to access the settings for your sound card. Select your Sound card as your Output source. Make sure nothing else is activated as an input source inside your Sound Card settings. At this point you can close the ASIO settings and Preferences window. If performed correctly you should now be able to use your Mustang amp as an input device and the easiest way to test this would be to arm a track (or put a track in record mode), and test the signal. If you got signal then you are good to go, but please let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi Peter Wichers - Fender,

Thanks again for your help, but please can you explain what the sound card is, forgive me if I'm being stupid but I don't really know all about Ableton Live 8.
Also, can you tell me how to arm a track.
I'm not quite sure about what I'm doing to be honest but I have a rough idea.

Thanks again
