Hi Guys
I bought my Mustangll new a couple of months ago then went on holidays for a month, I assumed you used an external memory stick for fender fuse. When I looked at Fender Fuse it said use the cable that came with the amp. Well I never received one with it only the power cable and CD, I contacted the music store and they said it will be a bit hard to get one from Fender now and really it all seems too hard for them. Any one tell me where to get one and how much as from what they are saying Fender won't cop the replacement.

The cable is a standard USB cable - with a normal "USB A" connector at one end for your computer, and a "USB mini B" connector at the other to match the socket on the amp. The cable should cost you only a few £££/$$$ from any computer store or online.

(Although note there are several different-but-similar-and-annoyingly-incompatible "mini/micro USB" connectors these days, be careful to make sure you get exactly the right one for the amp socket).

Note Fender have replied to another forum post asking the same question:

If you bought the amp new, in a sealed box, the USB cable should have been included. Was it an "open box" ex-demo unit? In which case it wouldn't surprise me if the shop had lost it. Here in UK they'd still be liable if they'd sold it as a "new" item (unless they'd explicitly told you that parts were missing), don't know about where you are.

They tried to tell me I probably threw it out with the box lol, but the box had to be broken up so I would have noticed it, it was on display in the shop and they had to pack it up for me. Pretty poor on their part I reckon, I am in Australia. I will just make some calls and see if I can get hold of one, one thing certain I won't be buying anything from them again.

you might already have one, it's a very common USB connector, I had 3 or 4 of them that came with various devices before I got my MIII. What's nice about the one that comes with the amp is it's pretty long so you don't have to have the computer too close to the amp.

It's a very common cable. My old Razr phone used it, and some external hard drives, printers, cameras, etc. You might have one and not even know it.
