I own a Mustang I. I would like to remove the amp chassis and make a small cab/box for it.
I don't ever use the speaker and cab, so I was wondering if anyone has experience in doing this.
I never use the cab and speaker. I only plug into the output to either headphones, recorder, or separate power amp to my 412 or 212 cab and it would be much more compact by having the amp "guts" in a nice small compact box.

If anyone has any info about this, please share. Thanks.

There's a guy over at the Agile Guitar Forums that is doing exactly what your wanting to do. He doesn't give specifics about chassis removal but, if you join the forum and post a question to the OP or PM him, he may provide some info.
