Hello,

I just purchased the Mustang Floor and here is my problem:

The volume is fine when I am running the stereo XLR out to a PA system, and it is fine when I am using the unbalanced 1/4" outputs. However, when I am trying to run the stereo XLR out to the PA system and a 1/4" output to my amplifier, my volume is cut by about 90% to the amp.

I've found that I can run just one of the XLR outputs and just one of the 1/4" outputs simultaneously without affecting output volume, however it does not seem to work correctly when I am trying to run stereo XLR outputs and one of the 1/4" outputs simultaneously. I'm coming from the Roland VG-99 world where I can run multiple outputs, both XLR and and 1/4", where I have full control over each outputs volume.

Is there some setting that I need to adjust in the utility menu? I've tried a few things, but I don't seem to have any luck. I appreciate your help, thank you!

Hi aaron.weibe,

Thanks for your inquiry. We are checking into this. We have tried to re-create what you are describing without success. As you are most likely aware, the Fender Mustang Floor is adjustable in regard to the outputs in several ways. When you select the Utility button, you can select either a Mono or Stereo output. This output selection is applied to both pairs of outputs except when you select Mono. Here you can adjust settings for the Left and Right channels separately. So, you should be hearing the same output levels from both pairs of outputs if you run in stereo and hear discrete output signal in mono (left channel from Right channel).

We will follow up with you as we complete a discussion with the lead engineer on this product with any additional information.
