Thanks for reply. So it sounds like there are varying degrees of a single problem. If it's minor, the firmware/calibration may fix it. If it's major, it needs the hardware fix.

I suppose I have the same feeling as Tony65:

I bought mine from an online store a couple of weeks ago. It took a while cause it came from Fender. I didn't have any problems with calibration.
