The instruction sheet that comes with the EXP-1 pedal says to see the "EXP-1 Section" in the Fuse user manual for step-by-step instructions... well, I have the Fuse manual, all 12 pages of it, and there is no section on the EXP-1?

Okay guys, this is frustrating as hell. I have been through each and every page of the "FenderFUSE_2.x_rev-C_English.pdf" manual found here https://fuse.fender.com/support.php and every page of the "Mustang_1-5_Advanced_English.pdf" manual, even had the wife double check it and there is not word one about the EXP-1!

I finally had some free-time today to play with it and now I'm at a dead end... having no documentation for a product stinks on ice!

The instruction sheet, and I use that term loosely, that comes with the EXP-1 is utterly useless... why not include the actual instructions needed along with the pedal? Doesn't that make sense? Why have it refer to some other manual that doesn't even have the required information!

Fender are you guys listening? This is sloppy on so many levels...

Hey Tony65,

There is a newer version of the manual: Fender® FUSE™ v2.x Owner's Manual for G-DEC®, Mustang™ Amplifiers, Mustang™ Floor & EXP-1 Expression Pedal, the pedal is on page 12. You can get it here.

http://support.fender.com/manuals/software/fender_software/fender_fuse/FenderFUSE_2.x_%28GDEC3,MustangAmplifiers,MustangFloor,EXP1pedal%29_rev-F_English.pdf

The calibration procedure has been changed with firmware 1.10, the new procedure is here.

Still missing some other info that would be useful, there are several threads on this board that answer those questions.

Enjoy

Thanks for the help... I'm still not sure how you found a user manual that more current than the one that's on the Fender Fuse support page, but I'kk give it a try.

Hi Tony65,

I apologize for the confusion here. Our current firmware version for the Fender Mustang III-V is 1.10. You can get that here: http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... amplifiers.
This Fender Knowledgebase article includes current and correct instructions for calibrating the EXP-1 pedal. Please let us know if we can assist further.
