Some features I'd like to see in future generations of Mustangs:

1) I'd like to be able to, optionally, keep the speaker on when using the headphone jack. I use that port to plug into my computer when recording and it would be nice if I could monitor my playing through the amp while recording. This should be simple to implement and would be very beneficial so it's at the top of my list.

2) Balanced XLR line outs. I use a mic on my M2 but it would be nice if I could plug the amp directly into the house and didn't need the mic. I'm probably in the minority on this issue - most folks prefer to use a mic - so it's second on my list. :P

3) Bypass all modeling and affects. Some of my equipment that sounds great stand alone sounds bad when input into my M2. For example, I have a Digitech rp355 pedal with some settings that sound really good through headphones but it is really hard to dial in the settings through the amp. If I could bypass all modeling and affects and strictly use the amp as a linear amplifier that would be helpful. If a 'bypass' setting could be saved as a preset would be even better.

Cheers,

Re 3, maybe this will do: https://fuse.fender.com/mustang/preset.php/pita-empty

And on the M3 and higher you can plug into the FX return.

I bought both of my Mustangs (I and II) used so I can't register to download presets. Thanks anyway.

Is that preset really empty?

It might be a radical change but I really wish the Mustang series had tilted, front-facing control panels.

You should PM one of the admins. I'm sure they can help you de-register and re-register the amp.
