Recently I've noticed that intermittantly the tone changes on my Mustang 1 amp. I'm usually playing on the Twin Reverb orange setting. Hard to describe the change but suddenly the sound gets very tinny and harsh. Kind of like going from a Les Paul to a Strat but magnified. If I turn the amp on and off it will return for a little while to the original sound. Is there a fix for this?

The downside of DSP/modeling amps is that trouble shooting can be more difficult for the enduser. Sometimes it's hard to determine if you have a software or hardware problem. If it's just one preset maybe it would help to do a minor tweak and re-save it. Hopefully the save would clear out some 'corrupted code' in the preset. Otherwise, you might try re-installing the firmware.

Should we assume no news is good news?

Not yet ... still testing. However, haven't noticed the problem since the firmware update but frankly have backed off a little on practice because of other summer activities.

Now that I've given up trying to do the upgrade, I've discovered that the amp no longer works! When I turn it on, the "Save" button flashes red repeatedly and nothing else works. I tried to do a "Factory Restore" by holding the "Exit" button while turning the amp on but this also has no effect.snapback obey snapback obey pas cher snapback new era pas cher

Hi roseli,

It sounds like the amp is stuck in update mode. If you do not have the newest version of Fender FUSE software, I would suggest that you try that. It is a public beta version, but it may likely correct the connectivity issue you are seeing. You can download that version of the software here: http://wpc.077d.edgecastcdn.net/00077D/ ... 6.1.35.exe. Please let us know how this goes, and we can take it from there. Thanks.
