love my mustang 1 and the awesome shared presets but have been very surprised that I can not find any George Lynch - Dokken presets. Also looking for Ratt and Randy Rhodes. I do find headphone sound far superior to open amp any suggestion on recreating the compression of headphones with open amp. Thanks in advance for a any point in the right direction.

Hi oblib13,

I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying your amp. I have located a couple of Presets you might want to check out. I'm not quite following the compression of headphones as you are describing it. Perhaps you could clarify a bit? Thanks.

The differrence in the sound from headphones seems to be a compression issue. The effects and general sound seem faded with an open amp. The links for ratt and ozzy are great but I am still waiting and a little surprised that there is no Lynch/Dokken, it is a great sound. Thanks again for the response the service of fender and the community is such a great value to this amp.

Hi oblib13,

Thanks for the follow up on this. Keep in mind as well that with the headphones you are listening to a full range source. That is to say a source that is able to reproduce the full frequency spectrum where as the built in speaker is designed for guitar output and will intentionally reproduce a limited frequency range. That may be the difference you are hearing. Please let us know if we can assist further.
