So I just got my Expression pedal and I have been working with it.

- To utilize the EXP1 open Fender Fuse (connect to amp)/Main Menu/Utilities/Expression Pedal

- This is a good link to see what that looks like:
http://community.learnandmaster.com/ind ... tang-amps/

- You have two settings with the pedal - green light and red light

- The green light option seems to only be for volume

- the red light will control:
a. volume
b. amplifier
c. stompbox
d. delay
e. reverb
f. modulation

Things I'm Not Sure Of

- There are two options for pedal default mode:
a. Don't pedal
b. From preset
(I'm not sure what this does)

Expression pedal has two modes:
a. Capture
b. Live
(I'm not sure what this does)

Issues
I was trying to run the volume pedal and also control the amp gain but to go from volume (greenlight) to gain (red light) you have to max out the volume to activate the gain and that thing is 100% loud.
I reversed the way the pedal worked so I could activate the gain without cranking the amp but that just feels as reversed as it is.

I will keep adding to this as I learn more.
A video from Fender would rock.

Hi Billy Hell,

Here is some detail on the items you listed.

- There are two options for pedal default mode:
a. Don't pedal
b. From preset
(I'm not sure what this does)
________________________
The Default Pedal Mode area of this window contains a bug ('Don't Pedal' should say 'From Pedal') which will be corrected in an upcoming release. The 'From Preset' indicates that the pedal will adjust its behavior to the settings in the Preset. The 'From Pedal' indicates that the pedal will behave as it is adjusted currently (Volume or Expression mode). This is a global setting.

The Pedal Mode selection is as follows:

'Capture' indicates that the pedal will react while in the current Preset once the value is changed (i.e when the pedal is adjusted).

'Live' indicates that the pedal will be live with its current position and mode at all times.

I hope this information is helpful. We will add more information about this settings window to the Forum shortly. In the mean time, please let me know if I can assist further.

Here's another shot of the settings screen - I could use some help over in this thread:

I have possibly downloaded a preset which globally kills my volume pedal. When I went into the configuration, both toe and heel value were 0%. So if I change the Pedal Default mode to "Don't Pedal", this will not happen? Can the Master Volume be decreased when the expression mode is engaged via configuration?
