I Know most of you will not like this, but I assure you MY feelings are equally hurt, and MY eyebrows are equally angry. However we ALL agree the pre-amp is one of the best, the Fender support is top-notch, and the bang-for-the-buck with FUSE is very nice.
MY fix: Run the headphone out to a low power (50-100 watt per channel @ 8ohms) Power-Amp. Then connect to the speaker(s) or Cabinet from the Power-Amp. Available anywhere, for 100 dollars or less. NO FIZZ. EVER.

Of course, as always, seek professional assistance & advice. Just don't fall asleep on their couch...they WILL continue to charge

I bought the Mustang V Head and have been recording Line-In from the headphones for two months. Just recently tried my cab with it. I've been recording Line-Out with a Tone-Lab ST for the last two years, and a Digitech RP 2000 10 years previously. I've always had better results with power amps rather than guitar amps with processing in a live situation. Ive got a great cabinet. Sunn 412 ModelT, that I re-wired to stereo, (Celestion G12-75 @ 8 ohms per side now) and thought it would be nice to have an actual amp head sitting on top of it. Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc. have great deals on small power amps with plenty of power for combos and cabinet rigs. Then of course there are the high power units from Musicians' Friend, Guitar Center, etc. if you want to get serious with it.

In retrospect, I once owned a Peavey Heritage VTX 212 with a 4-6L6 tube power section that I should have kept for this. That could have been a MONSTER!
