I already had a Mustang I but I was really missing a 12" speaker.

Found a MII for $100 on the local CL so I got it. The 12" speaker really gives the upper registers more body. With the MI and the 8" speaker the high notes were very tinny sounding.

I thought about putting a 10" speaker in the MI but the way it's constructed with the baffle glued in I decided it was too much work.

Cheers,

Did you need much more volume to let the II sing compared to the I ?

It was the tone of a 12" speaker that motivated the purchase. The extra volume was actually a downside for me. I'd prefer to stay at the MI's 20watts with a 12" speaker.
