To save me a lot of time, does anyone know the pre sets & settings I can use on this mustang 3 amp to get the blues sound similar to Gary Moore (thin lizzy). I ran thru about every amp I've messed with but just can't quite get the sound. But with 100 to choose from, it'd take me a long time to work my way thru them all.
Im playing right now on my Epiphone Dot & ES-345. The closest I can get so far is #64 with gain-6, vol-2.5, treb-7, mid-9, bass-7 rev-3 & master-3.
I'm playing in the house right now so I have to keep the volumn kinda low.
Gary Moore ran his Marshall's at;
B-7, T-7, mid-6-10, gain-5-7, contour-3-4, reverb...just a touch! These are just general settings. If you ever watched him play, he'd back up to the amps & fine tune them as he played & changed songs.
Once I get a feel for this new amp, When i pull out my Tele & Strat, maybe I won't have too much problems by then. Just sticking with this one guitar for now till I figure this thing out. My favorite amp is my 64 Fender Concert. Just too heavy to move around right now.
Help if you can? I'm hoping there a Gary Moore fan & a big Blues guy out there who's has worked it out already.

This is a demo video I did using a Standard Stratocaster with Dimarzio Area Pickups and hooked up to a Fender Floor Effects with a Boss DS-1 pedal over driving it...
It can get a pretty good Blues Tone...

I thought I was registered on epiphone forum, but last time I tried, I couldn't login....my email & name wasn't recognized? I looked it up to make sure I had the right website, guess I got lost in the craziness.
But anyway, thx for the info. It's going to take awhile to fully understand this amp. I've several older amp, just nothing like this Baby.

I was wondering because one of the admins over there is Epi1. The reason your user name wasn't recognized is most likely because of one of the many mistakes they made in trying to admin their own forums. It happened to everyone at one point... possibly when they merged that forum with the other 50 brands owned by G****n? I don't recall the specific bungle, there were so many.

I have been having some fun with the Mustang Floor and practicing a little video editing for some music videos I want to do of my songs. I decided to do some equipment demos of what I will be using to record the music videos. The Mustang Floor is pretty flexible for practice and recording and I am finally getting some tone dialed in, I have been discovering that lower levels are the key with the Floor and higher gain settings on the mixer going to the DAW.

I have some more demo ideas floating around...

majorbytes,

I like your sound. Can you post your settings on the Fuse forum? I would like to try it out. Thanks,

Dave

Just FYI Gals & Guys, Sweetwater Music in Ft Wayne IN. Is having Gear Fest 12 starting at 08:00 tomorrow. It's the largest vendor show in the US & this year they've got over $68,000.00 in give away gear prizes! If your interested go to their website & look at who all is going to be there. If your close by there, stop in & kill some time. If my health was better, I'd be there right now. If there's something you've always wanted, email them & see what kind of special dealer/vendor prices they have on that particular item. Right now their regular price on the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus is ~ $399.00 & free shipping. Also a 3 payment plan. I have yet to see a review of less than 9/10 on it. I've never played one but apparently their pretty good Axes. I'm looking into one For myself.
Anyway, just FYI. If I can pass along info & help someone get his dream guitar or piece of equipment, then I go to bed feeling good.
I've enjoyed all of the videos you guys/gals have listed. I learn something from every one of them. You all are pretty good musicians! Glad I found you.

I haven't done it either, but here is the "how to" from the Fender Fuse page.

To upload a Preset to the Fender FUSE Community follow these steps:

In Fender FUSE, click on the Media Library button.
Once in the Media Library, click on the Computer Tab. Be sure you are clicking the Computer tab in the Media Library and not the Computer button in the search area.
Locate the Preset you want to upload in the list of Presets. Right-click on that Preset and you'll be presented with the option to upload. Click Upload.
You should receive a message informing you that your Preset has been successfully uploaded to the Fender FUSE Community.

I use the AC30 setting with my bucker equipped guitars. I have a patch that I tweak some for various guitars. Search DRPIETRZAK in fuse I think to find it. However it may not be what you want/need.

Not that anyone intends to use it, but I found out I had loaded my AC15c1 preset and not my blues preset used for the mustang ii test. I did now its the "Dale's AC blues" preset. Sorry.
