Hey Brad,

It seems all has been quiet for quite some time regarding any Mustang or Fuse updates. Hate to start a rumor without any facts but the long lull would lead one to think either something major is coming out or the Mustang is on cruise control.

Any news that you can share about what might be coming?????

Thanks

Really, I second the motion. I have to use an older version of FUSE
because the latest release because I could not get the latest release
to run. My guess is they are "testing" a new release to make sure all
the bugs are worked out.

I'm on an older version too.

There were some significant issues with the last version, that seemed to revolve around the Silver-light hook-up, so hopefully that at least is getting fixed, but as for major feature updates, for example new effects or amp models, I'm not holding my breath.

A firmware update "within a few days" was promised here:

What's the definition of "few"?

The problems are discussed since February, already in March I read about "some days".

Bored of waiting in meantime I started using my Mustangs more and more without Fuse, I just use my ears instead. So I try to create a positive learning experience for myself. I stopped months ago taking my laptop to rehearsals or gigs. It was just stress. Stuck screens, unuseabel Onscreen-Tuner, Neccesity for Ctrl-Alt-Del, destroyed presets because I cannot see what I save, etc.
But I don't want to go back to a former version because I run a beta-firmware which fixed at least the for me most annoying error - the unintended switching of FX on M1 and M2. I'm not sure if an older version of Fuse will run with this firmware without producing other problems.

I have two ideas what may cause this long time for fixing some bugs:
- they are planning s.th. "big", an overall new version of Fuse (maybe Standalone without Silverlight - dream ...)
- they have REAL problems with their Software Development department
