I have a Mustang Floor and plugging in an acoustic-electric guitar. What are the best presets for getting a good acoustic tone?

Twin Reverb amp, most (all ?) of the gain rolled off, a bit of gentle compression and reverb, eq to taste.

There are a number of starting presets for acoustic guitar in the Fuse online library. Their quality varies, but since all guitars are different, you should try a few - may find something you like !

Thx depepat. I just got an Epiphone PR-5e acoustic electric and can't wait to start checking out the acoustic sounds thru the Mustang Floor.

Getting the settings right on the Floor will certainly help, but you will also need to work very hard at the settings on the amp itself, or the PA if you are using the Floor that way.

The amp models and associated presets available on the Mustang amps and the Floor are NOT really designed to complement an acoustic sound.

Hi JipThePeople,

A nice feature on the Fender Mustang Floor is an extra model that was added called Studio Preamp. This is a very neutral model that makes a nice tone for use with acoustic guitars. Please check it out and let me know what you think. And let me know if I can assist further.

Cheers,
