Hi,

I've got a bit of a problem with my Mustang IV, when I switch it on it seems to get stuck in some sort of "boot sequence" without ever getting to the point where it's working. The push buttons on the panel just keep going on and off in sequence. However if I hook it up to my laptop, start Fuse and then select any preset the amp then switches to preset "00" - "Liquid Solo" and from then on works normally. Anyone any ideas?

Cheers

Mike

I had that happen to me once. Do you know what firmware version you're using? We're up to 1.9 now. Also, I know that that startup sequence is a debug/testing mode that happens when you hold down Tap/Tempo. I forget what button it is. For me, after booting the amp a few times (including unplugging the thing), it started to work normally and it hasn't done that since, but I think I also pushed in all of the buttons a few times to make sure none of them were stuck in the "down" position.

I've had no problems since.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion, just had a look and the Tap/Tuner button was stuck down a little (probably a bit of crud!) all seems to be sorted now :P :P

Cheers

Hi Morafic,

It sounds like you have gotten things sorted out. And thanks FFXIhealer for your input here. If you run into any more trouble with your amp, please let me know, and I will be glad to assist. In case you do not have the most up to date firmware for your amp, you can find that here: http://www.fender.com/support/articles/ ... amplifiers
